Vacuum Conveying

Vacuum conveying is preferred if the system holds a moderate pipe length -
thus providing a minor pressure drop, one or more intake points, and only one
discharge point.

Pressure Conveying

Pressure conveying is preferred when the distance is too long for vacuum conveying (i.e. pressure drop in excess of 0.5 bar), or in case of only one intake point and a number of discharge points.
